Some other interesting creatures were also seen in Cornwall that week. See below. The Dragonfly must have been injured by a swallow or something because it landed on the drive and stayed there for a bit. My uncle picked it up carefully and it sat on his finger. Eventually, after I got some pictures of it, we put it on some grass in a field. The beetle in the picture was just in the road when we saw it. The fungus was seen on an uprooted tree which I walked past. Finally, the dog belongs to the farmer who owns the cottage. They aren't very wild but they were lovely dogs. There was another one too, and they were very friendly.

Overall, I had a great time in Cornwall, and the wildlife made it that much better.

Hi again Joe :-)
Great wildlife photos once again. Thanks for sharing your visit to Cornwall and the Eden Project. I've never been to the EP so enjoyed your video and photos.
We were on holiday in Norfolk this year and I got butterfly photos similar to yours. We were lucky with our weather it was sunny and quite hot :-D
Re plants that is my thing :-) I began gardening at 10yrs old. I am more than happy to share any info on them with you.
This weekend I have planted cone flowers, for the first time, especially for butterflies. Verbena bonariensis is another great plant for butterflies and I moved two from my partially shady back garden to my sunnier, much warmer, front garden. Small tortoiseshells found them quite quickly :-D
I must get my holiday photos posted - we visited Pensthorpe (where Springwatch was filmed this year) twice! I would really recommend a visit there :-D
Wishing you a warm and dry week :-D
